First thing I intend to do to the new-to-me Shovel is ditch the forwards for a set of mid controls.
I've pieced together pretty much everything I need, used on ebay. The brake side seems super straightforward, no worries there. The shifter side has left me with a couple of questions though:
I can't seem to find a parts diagram anywhere & I need to find the seal that sits in the small, oval inspection cover. Can anyone help me out on a part number for that?
Also, is the left footpeg really only supported by the 4, ź" inspection cover screws??? It seems like there should be something a bit more substantial behind it.
have you got the plate that takes that seal. id just get a plate with the seal installed there on ebay for $30
I already have everything except the linkage between the shift shaft & the transmission, but I'm figuring I'll just make something with heim joints & one of these: https://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/produ...Yf3vIPyjKNmS_9
I just need to replace the seal in the inspection cover. I found a full set of mids (minus footpegs & linkage) from a burnt bike on ebay for $25
