Remember when Velva Touch was the ultimate set up and the economy was great and we all were alot younger ! I think maybe 30 + years ago or was that 40 ?

No. They are noiser when hot. The heads grow. Leave more clearence.

you guys are funny. Hey! i tried tightening them so i could barely turn them and it seemed to make it quieter when hot so i think its OK. I put a stethoscope on it and the noise seems to be equal across the board. i appreciate the information.
