Interesting how the LR sold in England has the better exhaust than the one sold in the USA. However, the one sold in England has the standard 103 motor that the 2014-15 LRs. Guessing that the 103 HO is not allowed in Europe due to emissions issues?
I had my ignition switch replaced a bit back. Went to start it today and the whole housing is loose and a goose. The spot welds holding the backing plate popped. I recall another having this same issue. Removed the plastic cover, vice gripped the plate to the bracket, drilled 4 5/32" holes and secured it with pop rivets. It isn't going anywhere now!! I swear, this ignition switch-location and durability-are a complete joke.

was looking at a 2017 LR yesterday, no ignition switch, uses a proximity keyfobe and is keyless. asked them about a retrofit on a 2014, they said the bike has a different module than the 17, was hoping one could retrofit and get rid of the switch. you can look back at an earlier topic low rider ignition relocation, a member has a good idea on relocating the switch.
