Does anyone know if 2000-up fatboy front fork sliders fit on 99-down fatboy,i wanna upgrade to newer caliper

From what I found softails did not make the change to the larger axles until 2007. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong.

I used sliders from a 2003 Fatboy and a take off 4 piston brake caliper from a 2005 Road King. Everything bolted up and had no issues using the rotor and wheel set up from the evo. It is when you upgrade to the Brembo calipers that you need to get the larger diameter rotors.
