I did stage 2 on a 14 TK . Really disappointed in the out come. Dealer recommend S&S 551 cams. I really feel no change in performance. I did it mainly for the Scream Eagle Oil plate and high Volume Oil pump. It fixed my low oil pressure concur. But Stage 1 I had 102 ft lbs of torque. Stage two only 104. And lost a little Horse power. Different shop did the tune and different Dyno so I get they all are different. But even seat of the pants I feel no difference. Should have just left the stock cams and did only the oil plate and oil pump.
Cams on the Rushmore's seem to be hit and miss. I wouldn't do anything other than *maybe* a CR 570-2, Woods 222, or Andrews 48 on a completely stock bike. Sorry it didn't work out for you.
Why did your bike need a better oil pump? Was it actually pumping less than to MoCo recommends, or being ****?
I have the 551 cams installed as well. My tuner recommended them after I answered a few of his questions. I was disappointed at first while driving alone up and down the coast. My next ride was two up in the mountains and my opinion totally changed. As S&S states strongest from idle to 4000 rpm's which describes 80% of my riding. Any chance you told them you were looking for more torque below 3000 rpm?
