Has anyone had any issues with ordering from Softbrake recently? I ordered the deluxe tombstone housing and relocation bracket off of the website nearly 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing. Sent them an e-mail using their "contact us" link on their website - still nothing. Called the phone number listed on the site early last week and got ahold of a guy who was being shouted at by a woman in the background saying she recognized my name and then he told me that the parts were coming back from their chrome shop on Wednesday (the 11th of Feb), and I still have heard nothing. I will be contacting them tomorrow, to see if they are open but I'm just curious if anyone has ordered anything from them recently? I checked on J&P's site and a couple others, and they are listed as temporarily out of stock... I hope we are not seeing the demise in the making!
I received a couple of e-mails from Debbie at Softbrake this week. The first said they had a family emergency, that is the reason I hadn't heard back from my previous e-mails (last week). She informed me that they expected their shipment to come in from their chrome shop yesterday (Wednesday). I received an e-mail yesterday morning stating that my order was going to be shipped yesterday.
I'm hoping so - we are going on almost a month without much contact, no order confirmations, etc. I'll wait to see if it shows up. I won't be back in town until Monday (I'll be off the grid - no net, no phone, etc.). If it isn't here by then, and I don't have a tracking number/shipment notification. I'll be contacting them yet again.
