So I am interested in a detachable shield for my 2011 Fatboy. I am disapointed that the fitment is

Windshield dimensions: Overall height 26.3"; width 23.1".

Seems large in height. Anyone use this and feel it is just too large for their bike. As I have learned your eyes should be just over the shield.

Your thoughts.

 

I believe you can cut them down to suit your needs.

I just watched a video on youtue on how to cut it. seems very easy. I just may do that. Thanks for that direction.

 

Consider a Klockwerks windshield. Mine does an amazing job of directing the wind around me. I rode 50,000 miles with the stock Harley windshield and couldn't believe the difference switching shields.
