Just my opinion but I would go with the S&S plate and pump. Also my opinion that with everything ive seen the newer bikes do just fine with the OEM plate and pump but if you want to replace them id go S&S.
I just did mine with the S+S cam plate and oil pump...very nice. Not that much more, made in USA and I like the new oil pump, supposed to flow more to specific areas of the motor.
Put the zippers duel piston cam tensioners also.
I changed out everything except the cam...I don't have ANY tune issues and it runs like a top...don't want to change that...LOL. I must be going fast enough since I get a couple of tickets every year, so my wife can harass me...LOL.
