You must REALLY be excited! It's been a long wait. Congratulations 40 hours early.
I'll be curious to see if you can stick with the "keeping it stock" idea. It takes discipline (or so I've heard.)
Thanks SLV! I am very excited! I really love the look of this bike, and how I fit on it. I am also looking forward to my first bike with a 6th gear, and electronic cruise.
I get my Slim S on Wednesday, around noon. They are delivering it, because the weather has turned cold with flurries. I ordered the brown swing arm bag, and the nostalgic grips in black. Want to live with it for a bit, before changing anything else. I want to keep this bike as stock as possible. I am very excited, like a little kid at Christmas!
In the not so distant future, I think it will be Leather Pro quick release bags, and quick release windshield for longer trips.
you should at the very least consider a stage 1 and a good synthetic lube in all three holes as soon as possible
Enjoy the bike and ride safe
Aren't these bikes considered a stage 1 mod from the factory?
My understanding is yes the AC is considered a stage 1, when I added the 2 into 1 exhaust I was going to add a new AC, the HD service manager said I didn't need it. So far with the exhaust and basic tune she rides great. I am considering a Roland Sands V Stack AC cause I like the way it looks not cause I need it functionally.

Sort of. It could be a stage 2 with a higher flowing exhaust. Stage one is intake and exhaust. Stage two is stage one plus cam's.

The intake is a higher flow intake, but it does use a paper filter that needs replacing periodically. A K&N reusable filter is a good idea. The work better over a longer period.

SLV, thanks for the heads up, when I take it in for the 1000 mile service/dyno tune I will make sure to get a reusable K&N filter.
Fitted the LePera bare bones seat & very pleased with the look & ride.
Hey, the La Pera Seat in the picture, what seat is it and how do you like it vs stock. I don't mind stock, other than the fact the torque slides my *** to the fender lol.
