Yes. Which may not have been done here which may be the OP's problem.

The keyless security/alarm system is very cool, by the way. Love it.

One slightly sideways comment as we await the fix results. The security system draws battery power...low level but it's still there and it's more than without the feature. For over winter storage I put mine in either transport mode or disconnect the battery ground. That delays the time between periodic maintenance charging which can be every two or three weeks otherwise as the battery voltage falls from 12.8 to 12.5 or lower.

Spot on... Service forgot to assign pin during the pre delivery inspection... Problem solved!!

Good point. I do keep mine on a battery tender when parked in the garage.

Absolutely. My bike is on its tender whenever it is in the garage.
