but for the life of me I ant think how to have running light that will flash with this setup. When I put power to the wires it light. When I put power to the two wires and one gose through the flasher it will flash. How do you get both? Got these flashers
Ok I got the led turn signals that have two wires I would like the turn signals to stay on till I hit and hold the turn signal button to make them flash. I am going to have to wire from scratch.
Fist thing i checked was to see if the stems grounded. No good. I can make it work. Just came up with the idea of useing a five pin relay. When I hit the turn signal button it will switch from + straight to turn signal to + to the flasher relay then light. That should work. Just going to be a pain in the ***.
Yeh the relay will work but ideally it should have been a three wire light.
The tail lights on my Breakout are two wire, but the change from running light to flashing turn signal or brake is handled by the BCM control module. My front lights are three wire, although I removed them and replaced with tiny, ultra bright 2-wire leds for turn signal only. Good luck with the project-
Wait....so if you want your rear signals to be on while riding and then flash when turning, you just need to get a run/turn/brake module. Many people recommend the one made by Badlands....
If you're wiring these up on an older bike where the run/turn/brake module won't work, couldn't you use an LED intensifier converter? This will make a 2 wire light into a 3 wire giving you low light (running), high light (turn signals) and ground.
