Default Seat hardware Question

.
Anybody know where or if a guy can get a set of black seat nuts that hold the rear of the seat on?

you want some black 1/4-20 acorn nuts and black washers- usually find them on ebay because hardware stores don't carry them. I used those and also a pair of small tractor control *****, they are black 3/4" round ***** with a threaded 1/4-20 hole.

You can also use:
automotive air cleaner nuts they are all 1/4-20 and they make dice, skulls etc.
electric guitar control *****- they are 1/4" shaft hole with an alan set screw on the side. lots of cool designs like small black skulls, black small knurled *****, etc.

here is an example of the acorn nut- you want black oxide finish and not powdercoat. kind of expensive for one nut but search online for better deals.

example of 3/4" ball ****- it is actually a gloss shiny acetal plastic. my local hardware store had them, $5 each. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...w&gclsrc=aw.ds

and if you want something ultra-flush, get some 1/4-20 black furniture cap nuts. home depot has them for about $3 bag of 6. they are typically 1/2" long on the threaded shaft but you can easily grind them down a bit if needed.
example on ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/161241903777

^^ I had a set of those motherwell *****, they chip and look ratty after a while. might as well just paint your current ones black with a good appliance epoxy spray paint. plus they are just as tall and hit you in the *** just the same. the only time i use my stock ***** is for the wife and passenger pillion seat.

Would powder coating hold up on the stock ones at all?
