I have Wards fans on my 106" S&S 11 RK. They work GREAT, I also put on a Jegs aux oil cooler. If you are looking at fans check out the Wards and the reviews on them. I am on my 103"HO 16 Heritage classic today back and forth from work. She is brand new with under 100 miles still. Pretty toasty for sure. I have a stage one one on my 96" Cross Bones and It def. runs cooler. Will do a few mods to bring temps off a bit on the Heritage.
I know I am a little late to this thread... but I have a question, and I only have the 103.
I bought this bike back on Veteran's Day- and am just getting around to working on it. (Don't bash me, I have a 2 yr old now). I was told that it already has a stage 1 in it, so I really only need slip ons; is this true or not?
I don't get to ride as much as I did before said 2 year old, so if I don't have to do a full exhaust and tune as I did on my '08 Fatboy... especially since I can't get BUB's anymore!
TLF the 103 is a fantastic motor! I believe the fatboy's muffler has the catalytic converters in them so if you are doing slip ons I would do a tune on it...is it necessary? No but stock they already run a lean tune. The stg 1 they told you about is the air intake system only.
