woul i be able to put some on my train? Hey PIRATE How much did u spend on those lights? If I would of had those i could of probla seen that chunk of metal that bent my rim on the freeway a few months ago. Scarry ****!!!
I got the deluxe kit for $350, but thebulbs were another $48. I checked the H-D catalog, and this kit only works on the FL models, but at the top of the same page they have a kit that should work on yours for $284, part #69285-05. Instead of the bar that goes underneath, the one for the FX models attaches to each fork....

BTW, thats an awesome looking 'Train you've got there! I really like those pipes.....

Hey Vertigo,
What kit did you install for your passing lamps? I think that diagram I posted earlier is for models that come with the passing lamps already installed on the bike.I think the kits HD offers have separate switches for turning the passing lamps on/off

Oh geez you don't know how pissed I am right now

I am going to thank you for asking me what one I put on...

I have kit 69287-05 and says fits 00-06 fatboy and 06 - later flst models
DOES NOT '07 FLSTF MODELS...
DOES NOT FIT WITH DELUXE TRIPPLE TREE COVER

Guess what I put hours upon hours into putting this set on.. and they ****ing arnt for my 07...
No wonder I had a bitch of a time putting the f'n thing on..

PARTS DEPARTMENT at local HD shop is gonna pay for this ****..
WTF
I am soo pissed right now.. its 1am too

It took 2 weeks for them to get this part in.. WTF did they order the wrong **** for me and I put it on

...

but anyways.. think all I will have to do is change the bar on this...and wires..what a crock of crap PARTS idiots are..

All I wired was the extra yellow wire from the Lightbulb to the switch, the switch to both lamps..
Yeah the kits that would fit my bike are different..the actual bar wont touch the nacelle on the correct kit...one I have does and its spacers are wierd on each side.. which matched my detachable hardware so I chalked it up...
