Fatboy 88 knocking low rpm

After quite hard riding I noticed knocking in low rpm. Immediately after riding it seems to be quieter, but after stop like 15 - 30 minutes, its there again.

Sounds like it is idling too slow. Too slow an idle on twin cam can cause some issues. Do search on slow idling and see if something comes up.

I seem to remember something about low oil pressure and more stress on the crank with a loo idle.

Turn up the idle rpm, your bottom end being hammered to death!

Engine was cold, with warm engine RPM is significantly higher. With cold engine this noise is louder.

IN that case, does your bike have adj push rods? If so check em. Or it could be a bad lifter going out.

Cold or not the idle rpm is too low. Chances are you aren't building enough oil pressure at that slow of an engine speed. Low oil pressure equals knock..
