breakout bagger
Would just the saddle bags on both sides installed on both sides not been enough storage space? Or maybe it was done like this because more comfort for the passenger?
Ooops just looked at pics again....no passenger seat. Be careful man that looks like it may have caused a significant change to the motorcycles center of gravity.

Some said it couldn't happen. Most said it shouldn't happen. But god d@mnit I have some extra luggage options for the long hauls with the fun bike for when I get there. So far road worthy, completely convertible on the fly, and no issues as of yet.
Now I just need to paint the bracket.

+1. I took my 2013 Breakout over 5000 miles over 3-4 weeks and it performed admirably! Detach luggage rack with Tbag on the rack and another one resting on the passenger seat, attached to the rear bag with plastic ties. Easy, and once at the destination I could ride around town without any bags, just as God intended! BTW, when logging that kind of miles, having the right bar and seat configuration really helps. Put the Harley mini-z bars on and it fits like a glove...but I'm only 5'6" so your mileage may vary.
Technically a rear sissy bar rack is rated for 45lbs I believe. Factor in passenger weight and there's plenty of room to work with.
