I always loved the old softail customs.. but I tell ya the current fatboy is the coolest! That bike rocks!
Oh I don't think they'll ever catch me on a roadglide though. That front end just freaks me out.
I went across country on the RG. It was easy to do 600 -700 mile days. After all the engine trouble I had with it I wish I had gotten another Softail. The front end did not bother me at all. I know a lot of Electra owners would have to get used to it though.
Been with them for about 11 years. The Pres of our chapter has been with them for over 25 yrs.
I wish I still had them all. But at least the FB is only mine. I don't have to share ownership witht he bank.
Thanks for the comments. I had a lot of fun on each of these bikes. I put a lot of miles on them. The Softail Custom had 65,000 + miles on her before it was taken. The RG had 33+ on her before I sold her and now I am tacking on miles on the FB. So many good memories on the FXSTC. The best trip on the RG was the across county trip. Now the longest trip for the FB was two weeks ago from LA to Reno to Vegas back home. 1315 miles from friday late morning to monday afternoon.
