i posted this on the other forum but i might as well try it here also.I have a 2006 heritage classic and sometimesthe tranny just sticks in between 2nd and 3rd gear, shifter will not move unless i down shift and start over.it does not do it that much and when it does happen its when ifirst take off. after iride for awhile it doesnt do it at all.fluid is fine and i adjusted th shifter rod alittle...help some but its not right.i would take it to the dealer to get fixed while the warranty is still good, but i would rather do it myself.if i can..................thanks....Terry
Maybe you just need to lube the shifter. My 2002 FLSTCI did that and at first I didn't know what was going on. I had to downshift too and then try to come back up through the gears. I had it lubed at my 10000 mile service and it worked fine after. I do all my own work now so I just hit it with a little anti-seize when I lube my jiffy stand.
