Default 2006 Deluxe Progressive Front Lowering kit

Alright.. I've been researching for 2 solid days and keep coming right back around to the same conundrum. I still don't know.. Progressive gives 3 different options for my bike. #102003 , #31-2504 and #10-561 . I don't really care what is the "easiest" route, which one is best?? I've never done anything like this before, but I'm pretty mechanically inclined when it comes to vehicles, so I doubt I will have any issues with this job. Anyone have personal experience with an 06 Deluxe and any of these 3 kits? Help!

And all the forum threads I read with the monotube kit say you should "pc" or "pc'd" your tubes? Can anyone explain that? My apologies for being such a noob! I'm slowly learning! Thanks in advance!

If you want the best.....# 31-2504

#10-1561 - Is a basic lowered spring kit.
#10-2003 - Is a "Drop-in" style lowering kit
#31-2504 - Is The lowered Monotube Fork cartridge kit.

Do it once....do it right.

Watch this for more information:

Hope this helps.

I had the dealer install the 31-2504 cartridge kit in my 16 Deluxe with a 1 inch drop to match the 1 inch drop in the rear(422's) they are worth the extra cash over springs in my opinion, no more nose dive if you have to break hard. You will not be sorry if you go with them.

Ordered that kit last night! I'm doing it myself, so now on to researching the best method for installing it! Thanks again everyone for all your help!

I suggest a shop manual, Progressive told me the lowers have to come off for the install that's the main reason I didn't attempt it. Good luck with it.
