The problem is that the fuel exits the tank at the bottom left side, but the cross-over line is at the front of the tank. When the front of the tank is raised 2" higher than the rear, and the fuel level drops below the cross-over line, it cant run uphill on the right side of the tank, so some gets trapped there . I think the only way you could utilize all the gas would be to install a cross-over line at the rear of the tank, which wouldn't be easy, if even possible.
And if you lower the rear with out lowering the front, this effect becomes even more pronounced. Maybe need to take some side shots with angles.... I have lowered the front abt 1" to compensate for the larger front wheel I am running (which also increases this effect...).
How true that is, it never ends, its a sickeness....lol. On the other hand just got my Ape Hangers yesterday. They will be installed next week on Carlini Boob-Risers 1.50, also with the Chopperstyle 3 inch tank lift. No rush as there is around 10 feet of snow down here. April cant come soon enough.
