Default spoke covers

anyone out there have experience with spoke covers or "skins"?
pics on a heritage or deluxe? im contemplating it, but not sure if it would trap water and harm the spokes if I decided to go from black back to chrome some day. I think it would look killer with the coloring of my bike

I have been wanting to get them as well but have not done any research yet. As for corrosion all spokes get it and I doubt they will speed things up enough for you to notice. I have ss spokes on my bike so they may hold up a little longer but even they have turned gold over the years

I have a set on my front wheel. They've been on there a couple of years now and still look good. They were pretty easy to put on. I didn't even remove the wheel to do it although you may have to remove the rear wheel. You may have to loosen the spokes some also. I'm very happy with the looks of them.
