Was thinking of going with the 2 wheel tunes for my Low rider, but after I googled the main web site for 2 wheel tunes it does not work and hasnt for sometime, found a public notice of UCC Forcloser for 2 Wheel Tunes INC.not sure.May wait to see thats alot of bones to spend if the companys not around any more .
Only $35 & they work AWESOME! W/ a full face or 3/4 helmet I can hear the music at Hwy speeds, Super thin so they can go in small helmet openings. You can mount them in the helmet but I dont, I just slide them in on my ears
Heres our solution to the sticky velcro. Professionally designed, engineered and Made in USA. iPod Shuffle mount that puts the Shuffle in your reach. Doesn't look like some contraption from the science fair! New Shuffle loads 500 songs. More music than you can use on a tank of 4.00 high test this summer. We're also finishing our 3G Nano mount up for mid summer. Available in black or chrome finish.
I've used an MP3 and ear buds but with a half helmet the wind tends to pull the buds loose. I'm thinking of switching to a 3/4 helmet and the wife is pushing me to swap my traditional Sirius Satt receiver to a Stiletto w/ an integrated antenna
BUT, chalk up another one here who uses an Ipod Shuffle. When riding a some long cruises there's nothing like a bit of some cool tunes to go with the roads or scenery. The Shuffle is so small you can clip it on your collar, sleeve, shirt, almost anywhere, and like was said before who cares about viewing what's on next or searching.....just hit play and take off!
Also it lasts a while on a charge and you can stuff an ac adaptor inyour pocket to plug it in on a stop somewhere if needed, or rig up a 12v adaptor right to your bike.
Has anyone tried 'noise cancelling' earbuds? Sony makes a set, I have some butI haven't tried them yet, theyhave an electronic noise cancelling circuit, supposed to cancel out exterior noise so that you dont have to have the music so loud it'll deafen you - they were designed for aircraft travel etc so not sure whether they candeal withloud pipes etcSome examples here.
have used and still do mp3 player,350 songs, wear a shoty helmet found a cheap,,30$headset at walmart,it comes with a small amplifier, uses one aaa batteryand the noise reduction plugs, feels good souns greathighway speeds 70 or so sounds great run wires up inside my shirt, amp fits in mypants pocket,mp3 in shirt pocket or pants pocket, don't see the need to change songs or any thing else until i stop for gas shuffle songs, road 1600miles on same aaabattery.works for me,
I have my FATBOY set up for touring and have the HARLEY DAVIDSON ROAD TECH RADIO. It sounds awesome even at high speeds. It also has a plug for an IPOD.
