Does anyone have the 2018 low rider that they would like to report on. I
love the chrome and retro fuel tank paint.
Mid controls are appealing as I'm 5'2".

The 2018 Low Rider has to much chrome for me, got the Street Bob instead.

I have one in Pearl White. I'm 6'1" and last a tank of gas before I need to walk around a bit. The handling is way better than my 17 Road King. My RK is a stage 3 and this feels just as quick. The clutch is as it should be: very easy to modulate compared to the RK. Although it has a single disk it stops better than I expected. I have done the stage one @ 200 miles and noticed a power increase and sound. It does not sound like an EVO nor as Good as my RK as she has a high lift cam and is 114 cu.
Things I will do: Change the bars to Tallboy, put some forward pegs off of the frame, stage 2 power cam. (I think the LR would look funny with a crash bar.)
I already have a QD windshield (It's 44* today), small backrest and put in all LED Blinkers.
The seat is fine, probably the best Harley seat I have ever owned.
The nice thing about mids is you can stand up on them while moving to let your butt get some blood flow. (Try that with forwards or floor boards)
It corners very aggressively, though not like my ZX14r.(207 WHP and lots of electronics to control it.)
People here call them METRIC, well 3/4 of the fasteners are metric and the entire wiring is marked "Made in Mexico" I don't care.
I've owned Harleys (and just about every other bike) since I was 14, I'm 64.
I don't like spokes as I used to break them all the time in 40 years of drag racing. That being said Most Harleys don't have that kind of power and are not drag raced. In the end take what I and others say with a grain of salt. Go demo one and a few others and see what YOU like.

He does some pretty good comparisons, funny I just watched that video last night. I have ordered some Highway bars and pegs from Rivco that are actually made for a VTX that are frame mounted and will clear the oil cooler. Going to wait a bit on bars as cost for lines and electric is up there. I also just saw on Harley’s site you can add cruise control but need the dealership to program it.

How can you say that, mine is not "Butt Ugly" in the least. It may look "Butt Ugly" to you, but it looks very good to most.

So last weekend my wife and I are @ Laconia H-D picking out some T shirts as Holiday presents for our kids in Texas and Florida.
We are surrounded by 100s of brand new Harleys.
She stops dead in her tracks next to an 18 Brown Heritage, Wow she says, I really like that bike. Hmm
I have an 71 FX, a 17 FLHR and a 18 FXLR. We have crossed this country 7 times on Harleys. Yes she rides. We have seen millions of motorcycles. I’m trying to figure out how to get her one for XMASS. Probably going to have to sell some guns quick!
