I'm a old Harley guy with a 14 King with 40,000 trouble free miles. I'm considering getting a feather and do some tickling , I like that new Sport Glide . But I'm the kind that likes it when the MoCo brings out something new, different and improved, but that's just me. We all like what we like.

I bet he's referencing the denim rust red. I'd say brown is as accurate a descriptor of that color as red.

Probably. Now that I think about it, Brown isn’t a color HD has used very often although on the 2018’s, two tone Sumatra Brown with Silver Fortune is an option on a Softail Deluxe and a couple of touring bikes I saw that color combination on an Ultra Limited recently and it looked very classy.

I don' know how much you actually follow the stock market and how much you think you know about it. Their stock has not taken a huge nose dive. Their 52 week range is 44-64. Their quarterly report wasn't really that bad and they closed at 50 for the day. They own a nice market cap. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely, but their stock Is constantly thrown around on this forum like it is crashing. Go look at GE stock if you want to see a crash or fossil. Has nothing to do with the development of the new bikes. Big issue is across the boards. Millenials aren't really looking at riding motorcycles. They want to play their video games and sit in their room. Now this doesn't apply to all of them obviously but it does to a lot of them. Harleys original fan base is dying off. Most of these younger people don't give a **** about the history of harley. They care about the name. Kind of like a style of clothing. It's all about name brand. Also motorcycle sales weren't just down for Harley. They were down across the board. Advertising did not target this new generation. ****, most of them can't even drive a damn manual car lol. Harley had to make changes in order to survive. They need to get the attention of the remaining Y generation so they can also get the millenials as they come of age.

I have a good feeling Harley will do well on the next quarter reports. I thik the new bikes are selling well. With the cut in production and costs, I feel their ROA and ROC will be pretty good. They have a pretty good hold rating from some good analysis.

Default A great insiteful HD Road Test

Just ran across this in my on line Cycle News Mag. Captures what the non traditional HD buyer and rider sees in this new Softail line.

An excellent review of the new 114 Fat Bob, the same bike that I road and had to stop and look to make sure it was really a HD. Finally a bike and a line of bikes that the rest of the Motorcycling buying public could buy, ride and enjoy.

Your right, however it sure looks Brown, just like my FXLR Bonneville Salt Pearl is White, and my Roadking is Superduperfragalistic Midnight, Deep, Orgasmic, and cheapest Black.
I just Don't feel the need to correct everything I know Might be wrong. I'll bet you even went to Harley's website to look that up.
If my Wife says it's Brown... it's Brown. Just too funny I got picked up on that.

Lol. I own a "brown" one...I don't mind it being called brown. It's a little lackluster for a "red", but it's damn handsome for a shade of "brown" imo.
