Your right, however it sure looks Brown, just like my FXLR Bonneville Salt Pearl is White, and my Roadking is Superduperfragalistic Midnight, Deep, Orgasmic, and cheapest Black.
I just Don't feel the need to correct everything I know Might be wrong. I'll bet you even went to Harley's website to look that up.
If my Wife says it's Brown... it's Brown. Just too funny I got picked up on that.
Talk about being over sensitive.
I was mostly thinking if the bike was Brown it might have been a different year or model or something like that.
the new twisted cherry looks brown in sertan light, bet that's the color...
Maybe. Either that or the red denim.
I think they should have offered Bonneville salt flat white, glossy, not denim, as an option. Would look great as a contrast to all the black on the New Heritage in my opinion.
I love Harley-Davidson. I love the history I love the Nostalgia I love the soul in these bikes. But Harley-Davidson has shot themselves clean in the foot with the 18 Softail lineup. I don't care what anybody says. You can cry but hurt. You can cry all the hater BS you want. They're losing market share, the stock is in a huge slump and taking a nose dive. This is what happens when you let the Millennials lose in the design room. I'll buy they are an improvement ride wise, feature-wise possibly. But it's been said before if you want something that handles like butter you don't buy a Harley-Davidson it's plain and simple. If you need your *** massaged and your chin tickled with a feather then I guess the 18s do the trick for you.
Blah blah blah.
Welcome to, almost, 2018. I've loved my former Harley's but the new batch is a welcome one, both technically and aesthetically. Keep it going HD!

Agreed. They just need to solve the teething pains. Loving my '18.

I see moroninsc is still running his yap like anyone, anywhere cares what it thinks. Some folks are just destined to be dicks.
Does anyone have the 2018 low rider that they would like to report on. I
love the chrome and retro fuel tank paint.
Mid controls are appealing as I'm 5'2".
I have an 18 Low Rider. Love the bike. I went from a 17 street glide and no looking back! The amount of air flow from fairing to windshield when it's been 20 degrees in the mornings is a lil more chilling and the amount of being tossed around from 18-wheelers due to lower weight was a little getting used to but besides that it's just perfect. VERY few people NEED a giant touring bike to go bar to bar on. To me it was wanting a better handling, better riding, more nimble bike that I could get that real motorcycle freedom feel rather than the fairing dashboard feel. GOT IT! The windshield Harley offers may be tall for you, if you can get one w/o the re-curve. At 5'10" I have mine adjusted as far down as it'll go and it's still about an inch too tall. The recurve part would be a ***** to look through. See picture in previous statement of bike. Anymore questions just shoot me a PM.
Good looking Low Rider John Kyle.
In a year or two most everyone will get used to the change and quit criticizing the new softails.
Some will probably even feel a little stupid for the ignorant comments they made about the changes.
If Harley, or any company, never made improvements they would be out of business.

The low rider has been one of the most complained about models due to it switching from a dyna to a softail BUT what I don't get is why. Look up the older anniversary model in white... it looks SOOO similar to mine minus wire wheels and the shocks. I don't like wire wheels (never have, ugly and annoying) and also don't like the look of the shocks, they also restrict bag options a lot. I guess the battery box under the seat is different but that wasn't a "Harley thing" it was a ton of older bikes. I prefer the new curved parts under the seat that make it look more seamless. I will be getting them chromed or buying chrome ones if Harley ends up making them.
Change is a good thing. Anytime a company becomes stagnant you should worry. It either means they can't afford change, don't care or their time is coming to an end. I don't like all the new paint colors (but my color taste are different than yours, so not going to blast you for it) but the rest of the lineup I really love! I was between the fat boy and the lowrider. Price played a SMALL part, and the wanting to add more chrome was another key factor. Plus I just thought the windshield looked funky o the fat boy due to the headlight (which I really like otherwise).
