2004 Fatboy FLSTFI
my o4 fatboy has been sputtering like starving for gas it will sometimes stall...also I get a high revving from throttle this happens riding or idling i jus paid 1200 bucks to fix this at a shop and on the way home same deal...im at a loss...btw i am a lady rider but i do have some knowledge...so i can tell you what they have done...plugs were changed, fuel injection done...etc could it maybe be a hole inside my gas line in tank?

Be sure to look at your fuel pump housing. They have a habit of breaking the tabs that hold it together. When the tabs break, it allows the o-ring seal to become dislodged and the gas to escape the housing, lowering pressure to the fuel injector. Ask me how I know. '03 FLSTFI.

Aside from the pin hole in the tank's internal fuel line, you might want to check a simple thing.
With the ignition off, it might be worth removing your air filter and looking into the throttle body whilst moving the throttle.
The blade on the throttle butterfly can crack and exhibit some of the problems you're experiencing from stalling through to high revving as the butterfly hooks up and doesn't do what you are asking it to do at the throttle grip.
Sometimes it's quite apparent when you look, sometimes you have to look closely.
In a way I hope it's not the issue as it can be quite expensive to resolve.

The combination of the sputtering & stalling and the Hi-Reving leads me to believe that you have Throttle Body Issues.
But...I would follow the advice above and eliminate the issues you can do on your own.
1. Do the fill-up and check for sputtering & stalling. If that stops it, you have diagnosed that part of your issue.
2. Remove the Air Cleaner and check your Throttle Body Blade for cracks and smoothness of opening and closing. I would get a decent magnifying glass, watch very closely as the blade is opened and closed while having a friend work the throttle open and closed. Also look at the walls of the Throttle body and see if there are scrapes where the Blade is making contact with the wall when the bike is at normal operating Temp. Metal expands as it gets hotter

1. Does the Hi-reving only happen when the bike is warmed up and at normal operating temperature.
2. When you said the Fuel Injection was done, did you mean the Fuel Injectors were changed out and a new fuel pump was installed?
