Shift Lever Spacer Question
OK here is my dilemma this first bike so knowledge of things is old like 20yrs ago and dirt bikes of my buddy's anyway I have but on a Kuryakynk spacer for my shift lever as I have big feet and the heel and toe shifter was causing me up shift when I did not want to....basically stall trust me it took me a few time to figure it out WTF hence the spacer, so back to my question the assembly comes with a rather thick plastic washer with a rubber O- ring going to the inside of the housing bracket to the linkage. I assume this is to keep out dust and moisture and help keep the assembly lubricated. I have had to remove said plastic washer and but the metal or aluminum side to the O-ring so the shifter fit on correctly is this what other have had to do or is there another way?? Sorry just realized 2012 heritage classic that info might help a tad...

Is this what you have? https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/71...ver-eliminator
Instructions: https://maggroup.blob.core.windows.n...-22HD-0207.pdf
Get one of these too: https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/70...er-shift-lever
Pictures would help a lot...I wear a size 13 shoe and while I LOVE and use my heel shifter, the stock shift lever was too short, especially with my extended floorboards. Now my foot fits flat on the board between the shifters and shifting is much easier.
