Speedo/ Tach combo
Guess what the UPS guy just delivered at my desk !
Looks truely plug and play. Just the one acorn nut to remove the dash. unscrew the reset button, remove and replace then reinstall dash and torque to 80 to 100 nm. sweet cant wait to get home.

I really cant see my self looking down at the speedo tack going a 100 miles an hour. It just seem to be a bad place to have to look. I tried looking down to see how fast I was going while going through the gears and its not practical at all. I decided to use my internal tack for this type of thing.
Its not practical when i come out of third to shift forth i am at close to 100 miles an hour that's fast enough that glancing may cost me at that speed a split second can mean your life. if your not going to push the bike or race it why bother with a tach.
I used the tack so far to determine and confirm my idle rpm, then also found that I thought I was typically higher but found I run mostly around 2500 RPM to 3500 RPM. I had most exhaust popping when coasting at 2500 RPM almost all the time. So now I can go into my PCIII map and up the zero throttle fuel AT 2500 and +/- one cell to fix it :-) plus probably roll off the fuel I added above that at Zero Throttle on the table.

Ok on other subjects:
PROs:
It's cool at night (glows RED). see attached pictures...
Was truely plug and play installation.
Nice Surprise the RED locktite the factory installed was not hard to losen bolt. I used Blue when I reinstalled Lock Tite and Diaelectric Grease (also not used by the factory). strange as the underside of the dash is not a water tight seal to the tank in the front where the wires exit.
Cons:
This blind monkey took 15 mins to install. had to find the Silicon spray to lube the rubber gasket so that the Speedo would slide in without catching the gasket.
The response time seems a slight bit sluggish. I would guess about 1 or 2 ms delayed from major RPM changes (ie pulling in the clutch). Just doesnt seem to move as fast as my Metric Bike's Tach. but I am guessing the large Harley engine doesnt change RPMs as fast either.
