The front bulbs are dual purpose for running and signal. The rears are single filliment for only signals.

Mutiny5754 Not likely as you need two wires to run two filiments, or should I say 3. Two for power and one ground.

Bulbs with single contact on the bottom are 56s. Double contacts on the bottom are 57s. Not intended to be interchangeable.

Mutiny,

If you want the rear lights to work like the front ones there is two ways to go.
The first is the hard way and for that you need to rewire a new bulb socket into the housing. I have the plans for it someplace and if I can find them I'll e-mail them to you if you like.
The other is to use electronic 'trickery' to fool the system.
Biketronics makes a pair of controllers that convert the rear single filiment bulb into run andturn, or brake and turn. Or if used together they will get you all three functions run, turn, and brake.

Check them out here http://www.biketronics.com/item.html?PRID=1112045

Good luck, and have fun playing.
