Has anyone revalved the stock suspension or gone to something like an an Ohlins or Progressives yet ? Or got benefit from a change of fork oil or pre-load adjusters?
My 18 is by far and away the best ride and handling HD I've owned but I have a bad back(Spondlylolisthesus) , so yea I ride then I suffer for a week or two, then next time I have mobility rinse and repeat sorta thing , trying to alleviate some of the down time .

Wish I could say I was the first to do these, but it will be awhile yet.
Hope you can get it sorted, having the bad back, but such a nice new bike that you probably can't stay off is a dilemma!

Looks like Ohlins are now mass producing new shocks and front end cartridge kits for the new M8 Softails.
Yea Bobs I've seen those and I'd say they are awesome man BUT I can't afford to go that way unfortunately so a revalve both ends or emulators even pre-load caps is about where I'm at man.
Got a ride in up my local range last night man, fooking awesome my back is smashed now though (worth it), scraping all the way around my favorite bends man,I grew up here on Dukes man , that's another reason for some suspension feed back too , I'd like to put the longer shock or lengthen the rear and use pre-load caps or stretch the front a little so I can sit up higher in the stroke and get a little extra clearance and suppleness. Gonna grind my left foot peg and shoe off if I don't.
One of the boys will upgrade soon I'd say and have feed back , I might ring my local suspension guy tomorrow and find out the score that way.
Cheers man.
