I bought a set of Torx bit wrenches that are like the traditional "L" shape of Allen style wrenches. The local O'Reily auto parts store had them.
DMSC you rock! I picked up a set at O'Reily's and the T50 size worked perfectly. Got the toolbox on no problems, now the only thing I don't like is that the footpeg sticks way out, due to the required extension kit. Always seems that one upgrade causes a problem somewhere else....Time to start researching that problem now....
Thanks again for the advice about the torx wrenches!

I just put on one mine last week. Left side to. Mine had Hex (allen) bolts. The only way to fix the problem about it sticking out to far, is to put one on the other side to. I don't think mine looks too bad, with just the one.
Yeah, I bought a set of "L" shaped Torx and Allens. They can be very similar, and you have to be careful of the choice as some can be very close. Was the first thing I bought, very cheap like under 7 bucks for each set.
Anyhow, both have served me very well EXCEPT when trying to remove a T45 fender strut mount. Stripped a bolt as they are just not strong enough, or you just can't put enough pressure on it.
I also put a toolbox on and don't like the yardstick left peg sticking out, looks a little strange. That was one of my first mods, took me, oh..... I'd say 4 hours to complete. [8D] Was my first whench job.
