Clunking noise at start up

Is this a new recent issue that developed and you changed out the tensioner and compensator in an attempt to remedy it? Just trying to expose some history here.

Yup... started with a bad clunk... Then changed to the baker compensator and Hayden chain tensioner... Still get a clunk but sounds different,like a tight chain that needs to turn but gets stuck for a moment

Try removing the primary cover after warm up and turn the engine over and inspect the chain and tensioner when this occurs. Just don't run it for long if she starts up. The fact that you experienced some change in your symptom after installing the new parts would indicate that may be the source of your issue.

If a new battery does not fix it, could be a leaky injector. But if it bangs, it's vapor in the cylinder. If it actually jams some time, it's probably too much liquid fuel since that won't explode and bang. Could be tuner if you have one and you have a map that affects idle. Battery first.
