Hi All,
Workig on doing cams, hybrid cam plate and high volume oil pump. I have a question on the oil pump assembly. The original pump had a groove for an oring. The new pump has no groove for an oring, pump is larger than stock. Just checking if an oring or gasket is evn needed to join the pump to the screaming eagle cam plate. Thanks in advance
I have never seen in person, or installed the Screamin' Eagle kit #25284-11...... BUT ....
Looking at the install instructions, namely figure 8 and table 2, they don't show nor do they list an o-ring between the oil pump and cam plate... So I suspect there is not supposed to be one...
