I have a 2002 FLSTC with V&H Staggered Big Shots with quiet baffles. I am looking to replace them with a much quieter exhaust. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I do some long rides and after a while it starts to beat on my old ears. Thanks

I had the same problem with a set of V&H Short Shots. Found a set of OEM and was pleasantly surprised that the bike performed better with the stock pipes. I then went with a 98" kit and a set of Supertrapp 2 into1 SuperMeg's that I'm real pleased with as well. The Supertrapp have 20 total discs for tuning. I'm running 19 of them.
The Bassani Road Rage with quiet baffles is pretty quiet......
This is my recommendation as well. I use to have the dual staggered pipes and they sounded good, but after riding for a while my ears had enough. My Bassani RR has the stock baffle and I think its perfect.

Screamin' Eagle mufflers are quiet
Just a tad louder than stock
I had em on mine for about 5 min
See em on ebay all the time.
Those are the same exhaust I have on my 06. They ain’t quiet for sure. I have the quiet baffels without the packing. I wish my M8 RGU sounded that good
