Since reading this and searching and talking to people ive ordered some bars. Wild 1 Outlaws 14" with risers. I was thinking they were the chubbys but I was mistaken. Anyway, thought I'd share and I'll report back with my findings. I'm anxious to get them on.

You are correct, I have to move my leg when taking a low-speed turn with beach bars. I love apes but can't keep my left arm up very long due to tearing the tendons in my left shoulder beyond repair.
