Default New PIPES-Feedback and Opinions please

07 Hertiage softail classic: Can't make up my mind on new pipes. The two I am interested in are the Pythons and the True duals from V & H.( These are the ones that crossover and give you a pipe on each side of the bike) Really like the looks of the duals but after hearing both I like the sound of the Pythons better. Any opinions and/or feedback appreciated. I currently have the RUSH slip ons 2.25's. They are nice, loud, and look good but I'm looking for a change.

Congrats on the new bike, 07 FLSTC owner myself. I went with the V&H Big Shot Staggereds & done some research B4 I went that route. I have read & been told that V&H makes the pipes for Python, I was interested in the Python staggered pipes as well and told that they were a little louder than the V&H Big Shot Staggereds.

If V&H makes the pipes for Python then I would say they are basicaly the same pipe with a little different baffle in them thus the bigger sound.

Dan

Yes, V & H does make Pythons. The pythons definately are louder.

Here are the Pythons. When I bought them from Eastern Perfomance, they said I could save money by getting the Pythons and the only difference was the milled tips on the V&H's.

If you like the sound of the Pythons better over the True Duals I would go that route. Nothing worse than dumping a load of money into some pipes and then afterwards second questioning yourself if your bike is as bad a$$ sounding as you would like.

I have the V&H Big Shot Staggereds and love them, I think they look good on the Heritage even with the bags on, sound great and feel they have a good performance value over stock. If the Pythons are louder than the V&H then the more sound the merrier.

Dan
