i am going to make it as custom as possible up front. First things are powder coated mini apes, some kind of new seat (maybe the king/queen), tri-bar tail light, smoked led turn signals, most likely a forcewinder ac, and I am starting to shop pipes (which i want to have ceramic coated).

After that it will just be minor stuff (hand grips, maybe footpegs, etc)

it is funny you say that because i was just talking about that with some friends. a lot of the younger riders are into the blacked out look over the chrome. I think there is definitely a shift in preference, although chrome will never die because it is part of the HD mystique

I agree Crock. Chrome will always be #1 and my next bike will have chrome. But black is not a fad like a lot of shine freaks say it is.

i just think chrome looks better as an accent, not a primary color. that is why they make bikes in different colors right? As long as people like their rides, that is all that matters.
