Springer Bouncing - Fork crooked?
check your front fork, If you can move the front legs back and forth by hand, the springs do not have enough tension
If it’s super hot it will liquify the grease and make it runny
I agree... I'm not a Springer expert, but have one and have been learning about it as I go...
It looks like my 2001 springer... At first glance, it looks like it's "tweaked" until you look closely and see everything is fitted correctly...
I will say that your springs don't look like they are set properly... something does appear to need an adjustment somewhere...
Some springer front ends, without a shock, were known to "pogo" a bit...
If there's a lot of pogo activity WITH a shock (dampener), something is wrong...
It could be a really worn/bad springer shock... but those springs look tweaked in one picture... I'd check they are assembled correctly and with all parts in proper order..
It might also be a bad rocker adjustment or badly worn rocker bearings, as mentioned already...
As for all the grease... the proper way to grease neck bearings is to remove them and work the grease into the bearing.... but the MoCo on numerous years/models just put a grease zerk in the neck.... so you basically fill the entire void in the neck with grease... hoping that the grease will work its way into the bearings...
The first time I took that short cut, it took like two full tubes of grease before it started coming out the top/bottom of the neck... I got a high heat grease, and yet for quite a while afterwards, it kept oozing grease out the bottom in hot weather...
You are doing right to get it checked by someone with springer experience..
Please report back what is found to cause the pogo issue...

This is a FX springer from an 05 FXSTS ON MY 05 Night Train. All parts outside of the forks themselves were replaced with NOS parts.Everything is straight and gaps at bearings as they should be. I ride this bike harder than I should with no I’ll handling effect’s.
