I know it's been talked about before, but I'm wondering for the people who have installed a lowering kit in the front end of a Deluxe, how do you feel about it now with some time riding it....Thanks.....
The ride was not that bad up front, the back was horrible. I had the front lowered by 1.5' and could not tell a major difference. If u are thinking of lowereing ure bike I strongly recommend an air ride suspension. I learned the hard way by getting the kit and then replacing it with the Legend Air Ride--I absolutely love this mod. I will try to post some pics shortly of how she looks all the way down---sweeeeet!!!
The kit was $1800.00 and the install was $300.00(around). The Legend is more expensive than some of the others, but they have the low-profile shocks. I went with the best name out there after talking to some of my customers who own chopper shops, they swear by them--and as of now so do I. You wont believe the ride quality over stock, and if you scrape ridding 2 up that will no longer be the case. I will get u some pics late tonite.
I love the Corbin. The one I have is the Deluxe solo. I also got the passenger seat and backrest(one piece) for the wife and she loves it. The backrest you see in the phot is the most comfortable thing on earth--no kidding, although it might take away from the look, the comfort of this thing is just too much to pass on. Are you thinking of changing and lowering some things?
p.s. i believe she drops a total of 3 inches from stock.
