just got a 01 night treain and would like some info on a new seat and a two up seat, wife went 25 miles and was not very happy no the badlander and i'm pretty uncomfortable too. thanks for any info joe
may want to search aroudn the thread, this is a pretty popular topic. I went with a sundowner, but mustang and corbing are also very popular. the benefit to the mustang (vintage solo) is that it is a one up seat that you can add a removable passenger seat to. kind of best of both worlds. I would have went with it, but the dealer said I could not return it and there was no where to try it out.
Badlanders look good but are a pain in the *** (literally)...I got a leather one for my bike to replace the stock seat and since then anything over 50 miles or so and I'mfeelin' it...I ordered a Mustang vintage 2-up seat for my '06, installed it (set me up a tad higher and a fuzz further back),rode on it 10 miles or so, then the very next day went on a 1,100 mile round trip...I did 500 miles the first day and could have gone a couple hundred more...it was a night and day difference...I HIGHLY recommend the Mustang seats...solo OR two-up!
