Icall BS on everything you've ever posted. You're either a troll or a pathetic wannabe Harley rider.
ORIGINAL: rmsurveyorsI, as well as most others on this forumreally don't care what you think.
I care what he thinks. I spent a hell of a lot of time reading your rants about your 07 and how everyone should boycott moco and now you go back and buy another new Harley?
You are either the dumbest *** I ever heard of or just full of bull.
No one in his right mind with the troubles you claimed to have with the 07 would ever buy another product from that manufacturer.
Bottom line - I don't believe anything you ever said or ever will say.
You have kept these boards hopping with non stop rants about your 07, every one of which I took as gospel and I thought I was learning from you.
Why don't you just shut the frick up?
Shows how much attention you payed to the post, the Heritage is NOT mine and was purchased by the wife, the issue with the 07 Clatter wagon still remains the same, MOCO screwed their 07 customers, you know it and everyone that's riding one of the clatter wagons knows it. As for the IDS, who's still paying the tab?
I'll say it in a different way, to possibly make MOCO fix the 07's (at their expense not ours) don't buy any more products from them, that includes the so called redefined 08's, which are still being weighed in the balance! I realize every manufacture can make some bad stuff, but we should all make sure they correct their bad stuff, by not denying it exsists and fixing it. If MOCO can build the 08's where they don't clatter then they can fix the 07's where they don't clatter, and so far they're just shooting the bird to their customers with the 07's. IDS, at who's expense?
RM,
Don't listen to these folks bashing you. Anyone with one of these clatter traps understands your flustration. Glad to see you checked out Columbia TN likeI posted a while back to you. I heard their
greatup their.Even better than their sister store Cool Springs where my clatter glide came from.
Only thing I don't understand is why didn't your wife listen to you and get a bike that they make a IDS
sprocket for? Seems like ZZ and Iron both got great results out of theirs, as well as others. They claim that the IDS stopped all the knocking clatter sounds comming out of the primary and comp.
ZZ posted that heeven took his bike down to 40mph in 5th with no knock, clatter or lugging sounds and can ride comfortably at 60 in 6th.His post impressed me so muchthat I then ordered my IDS.
Surely they will make one for the Softail Line soon.
Best you write to HD and talk to Willie. The dealer is not HD he sells t-shirts from China as well. If you tell us "The dealer said" said means nothing. You ain't going to get anywhere or what you want. Write to HD, get a loan bike and tell themthey can haveyours for 14 days if it ain't right according to an agreedindependantmechanic get it replaced.
Well Rmsurveyors, on the off chance you aren't a troll, I've got some info for you. My bikes knock turned out to be a very loose primary chain. Dealer said that the "auto" adjuster was not working, it was stuck. In and out in a couple hours, and a complimentrydetailing job. I'm happy again, I really like this scooter.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
