Cruise control on Fatboy
Anybody got a cruise control on their fatboy and if so which one and how do you find it? I am guessing that these are all mechanical and not electronic as per some of the larger cruisers?

I have this now on my FB and enjoy having a one-click ability to hold throttle position. I have lots of long boring streaches that get "clicked" so I can move my hand and flex my fingers. Very easy install and the website have a little video that shows you how it works.
I spent $219 and got free shipping from realhog.com. A little expensive, but excellent quality and reversable install.
It works well, was cost-effective, and is unobtrusive.

I think the Cruise Mount one uses stock Harley parts.
The 50's Boy is expensive at about $200, but it is one of the nicest pieces of engineering around for the job. Just not sure I would like to spend that much money for it.

This one is a little more cost effective and is similar to the one tunaman mentioned, it just costs a bitmore.

Have fun choosing, and ride safe. [sm=biker2.gif]
Damn Texas, and here I though the 50's Boy and Brake-Away versions were expensive. The ones you posted are$600 to $1000. True they really are real "Cruise Controls", but damn that is an awful lot of money to lay out. I can get a nice pairof chromed dice for my tire valve stems with that kind of money.

A little more expensive, but looks like it may be worth the extra cost... billet or stainless steel, looks like it's really well-made. The Throttle Mate is pretty light-guage aluminum and not nearly as nicely-engineered as the Throttle Locker. It works, but I may have to get a Throttle Locker just as an upgrade.
I tried to contact them some time ago about getting one, but I never heard back from them.
I don't know if its because they missed the message or I did, my computer died about that time and it may just have slipped by me. And to be honest I just plain forgot about it till I saw this posting.
