I've got a 120/70x21 on my Train. I installed it on a 3.5" wide wheel tho. The fender doesn't fit over it. I have a Fat Boy fender laying around so I checked it out for coverage. It'll fit by elongating the mount holes but I didn't like the way it looked on there. I run without a front fender.

Any fender clearance problems with the 90/90 ?
Itwill be a close fit but it should clear OK.
Metzler calls the 90/90 a "Stage 1" upgrade in that it is the largest tire size they make thatwill fit a stock rim and fender without any modifications needed.
90/90 fits well on a stock fender.with stock width wheel. 120 on a 3.5 inch wheel will fit with a little tweeking of the mounting tabs. Looks to small to me with the skinny fender. Here's a shot of one.
I've been wanting a 120/70/21 on my bike here lately, but keep getting told it will not fit with stock fender and wheel, but hell,I'm hard headed..gonna try it anyway. https://www.hdforums.com/m_737511/tm.htm

Ya might want to reconsider that one. Running atire on a rim that's too narrow for it, to put it bluntly, will make for a very "interesting" ride. It will do not so nice things to the tire's internal structure as well as let the tire move from side to side under load.
These are things to be avoided not embraced.
