Hi,

My FB is amost due for its 5k service, whats the best option , servicing it before I store it for the winter, or waiting until spring and doing it just after I put it back on the road?????

Always better to put your toys away clean. Dirty oil forms sludge. Sludge is bad.

+1 and you won't have to worry about what the old fluids are doing while the bike just sits there.

I never store bike with dirty oil.

Change before the season ends. That way you wont have the corosive acids in the motor all winter.

Couldn't agree more, service first, store second.
And I would and do do it even if its not time for it.
Never ever store it with old fluids in the engine.

Same here, change the oil before.
Get rid of any sludge and moisture.
It's like a sore, don't let it fester.
....and don't forget the Stabil for the gas tank.
