Don't mean to be rude, but the HD Stage 1 does in fact change the fuel mixture. It richens it across the RPM band by 5%. The advantage is once it's done it's done. With the PCIII there is a lot of time consuming downloading and fine adjustments to make. And, the best way of getting the PCIII dialed in is to put the bike on a dyno. So, if he picks up a used PCIII for $165.00 and has to have it dyno'd for another $400.00 where is the savings ????The HD Stage 1 is money well spent for a virtually stock bike with a set of pipes and an air cleaner.
