RE: LePera Barebones seat for 07/08 models is ugly?
In actual fact that seat looks pretty damned good on your bike!! It seems to follow the lines of the tank to rear fender better than it would a fatboy!

I hate it when I bag a product generically then someone has it on their bike I did however re-phrase my comment... I really DO like it much better thanmost other aftermarket seats... but I don't like it nearly as much as the old one... that's about as good as a retraction as I can do

So what are you trying to say ?

No problem , I don't get offended to easily . I do what I like to my bike noone else has to like it . I don't really care for the look of the corbin seat but thats my opinion . I know what you mean about the old and new version but I guess they can only do so much with what the seat has to cover
RE: LePera Barebones seat for 07/08 models is ugly?
The Corbin Hollywood solo looks pretty good i reckon but i would be cautious about getting gel, heard some very mixed reports about them.I have a Corbin classic solo and its ok.Maybe a Danny Gray seat might be an option as i think they custom build them. But whether you still have the high back issue i dont know.
The LePera bare bones for your model doesnt look that bad but i suppose if you are forking out your hard-earned you should get what you really want and not have to compromise.
