Ok all, looking at putting a smoked tailight on my Heritage and would love to see some pics.
My ride is black with smoked bullet indicators and considering the HD LED with black housing or the Kuryakyn deluxe tailight (the one with the silver strip running vertically).
Would love to hear some opinions on what you guys have, what you would like to put on or what you wish you did put on.
i have kuryakyn low profile smoked lens, the silver stripe was a bit "much" for me
looks great....

thats not my bike though....but you get the idea
I have the Kuryakyn deluxe taillight. It really improves the look of the back fender. I had some minor problems with it though. After riding in the rain a few times, I noticed water on the inside near the top. Thinking I had a bad seal at the top, I took it off andre-adjusted the gasket. Still water inside the next time it was wet on the roads. Wasn't really thinking the first time, but the second time noticed the two holes in the fender that are used for running wires through for said brake light and signal lights. I used the extra piece of foam/gasket material with the sticky back to block of these holes. No problems since. Overall, a real nice piece of kit.
I put on the Harley wiring harness that makes the rear turn lights into stop lights and then changed the tail light lens to the drag specialties clear chrome lens. Put in a red led bulb form http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html for about $8.[/align]
Im really happy with my harley brand led smoke lense taillight. No leaks, plug and play, and super bright. It was the first mod i did to my bike when i bought it. I also have the kuryakyn led replacements for my signals which look nice with it.
