For sound and Cheapness you cant beat the Cycle Shack Slip Ons.They sound exactly like the SE's and 1/2 the price. But someone said to do nothing and listen to other pipes, thats good advice. Pipes are expensive and it would be to your advantage to hear a few sets. I just got Hooker Troublemakers and they have a smooth deep rumble.
Cycle Shack made those SE pipes and I can't tell the difference in looks or sound except for the SE logo.
I agree...take SPIKEHYRE 's advice and do nothing for a while...you'll get to see other bokes iover time and will find the right look/sound for your style.

I also heard that moco left cycle shack for another maker but the se mufflers up until recently are cycle shack. I like the shack se mufflers better than the new ones.
Im running the HD SE 16 ga double barrels............sound great and I like the looks as well. Take your time and look/listen to several bikes if you can, it helped in my decision.
Vance & Hines BSS they make the bikesound like a realHarley......Not like the stock pipesyou will have to do a stage 1 but it's worth it.
I put that exact setup on my 08 this week looks and sounds great. Not exactly for the budget minded but you can do all of it yourself except the computer download.
