.....always at the small things. Bought my new '08 Softail Custom in late December. Got the title in back in todays mail. Thing is, under the "model" heading on the title it says "FLSTC", not FXSTC! My choices are;
Bitch to the dealer (for possibly botching the form) and do nothing.
Apply for a corrected title.
Bitch and moan and do nothing.
Trade it in for a Heritage Custom (FLSTC).
Bitch some more.
Buy FL tin.
Bitch............. well, you get it.
If the VIN's right its probably not a big deal, but I would still bitch to the dealer and make them get it fixed, pronto.
Yeah, I think I'll bitch some more! It's a good thing that I'm bigger than that lady that started this whole mess. I might just.............. Na, I'll just ask her nicely!
I'd definitely instruct the dealer to correct their error. The only thing I'd let slide would be if they moved the decimal point a space to the left on the bill of sale.
Beleive it or not I have had this happen to me several times. Last time dealer fixed it with no hassle. Other times I did not do crap and let whoever fix it years down the rode when they bought it. BUT in this digital information age get it fixed ASAP.
