Default EZ/Ghost Brackets

I trolled through the search engine for an answer to this, but couldn't find it.

I have an 07 springer. I am looking at either EZ or the Ghost brackets for some bags of mine.
I have the harley detacheable hardware and the pictures I saw for both brackets keeps the bag too far away from the bike.

So, i'm thinking to 86 the harley quick detachables, get a rigid backrest and get the EZ or Ghost brackets that mount up to the fender strut bolts. But, was hoping someone who has that could post a shot or two looking either down at the fender from the top, or from the rear so I can see which bracket keeps the bags closest to the fender.

thanks.

Hey Bigdeek,

I have that set up on my 2003 Fatboy. I chose to go without the sissybar. I does stick out too far with the detachable sissybar. If you think it would help , I will take some photos and post them. I know it isn't the same bike, however it should be the same spacing. BTW I also have a 2008 Springer and am considering the same setup. I have to buy some bags, so I am waiting until Myrtle Beach Rally. The vendors will be setup everywhere so I can look before I buy.
